 Verse 1

Peaches with their curvy sides

That downy skin, and that juice inside

Always dribbles on down my chin

tastes so good it must be sinful

Verse 2

Peaches with their deep dark hollows

down where the stem goes, the pollen follows

sweet and sticky, make a sinner preach

Honey, can I have that peach?

Chorus 1

You mighta thought that I was a bee

Buzzin around that fruit

Snufflin up that fragrance and them pheromones

There’s no substitute, for

Verse 3

Peaches by candlelight

make you thank your stars for the gift of sight

gold and pink in the flickering light

peachy shadows in the night

Chorus 2

A ripe cherry or a pretty pear

might coax the mute to speech

But no fruit can make a saint swear

like them lovely, luscious, fulsome, saucy

Repeat verse 2, plus ending

Peaches with their deep dark hollows

down where the stem goes, the pollen follows

sweet and sticky, make a sinner preach

Honey, can I have that peach?

Honey, can I have that peach?

Honey, can I have that peach?
